I have no idea who these strangers are? I just couldn’t resist taking this picture, the surroundings were right. I was standing on a small humpback bridge, just south of Anna Maria Pier, when I took this photograph of the colorful strangers cruising along in this open fishermen. The beautiful green saltwater really makes for a nice background in this recreational boating photo.
These men actually look like the are modeling for a boating magazine or GQ. They don’t look anything like me and my buddies do after a long morning of fishing. When we return from sea, our cloths are usually covered in fish scales, blood and guts from catching so many trout, red fish, grouper, snapper, lady fish, jacks or snook. Maybe these men were just out for a joy ride or something. Either that or they had a bad day of fishing!
Oh well, you know what they say, “a bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work!”
